• The ‘Cloning service only‘ option above is if you have a faulty Power steering module on your vehicle, for example it may be water damaged or have a blown component. If you are looking to replace the unit you may be aware that you cannot simply remove a unit from another vehicle & install it onto yours as the unit is ‘Locked’ to a different vehicles VIN number (Chassis number) in various electronic systems. We have the solution! Simply send us your original (Faulty) unit & the donor (Replacement) unit & we will transfer the data from your original to the replacement enabling the used unit to work on your vehicle with no further programming necessary. Once the donor unit has been programmed (Cloned) the coding of the unit will be correct & the car will start & Power steering will function as it should. We do NOT need the PIN code from your vehicle or the donor part to do this operation *Important* We can only clone this type of unit if there is ‘Communication’ with diagnostic tools with your faulty unit – If your faulty ECU has ‘No comms’ please select the ‘VIN number programming service for your donor unit.

• The ‘VIN Number programming‘ option above is for when a second hand module is to be fitted and the original power steering unit is missing or unreadable and therefore cannot be cloned. This service is particularly useful if you have purchased a vehicle which has previously had the power steering module replaced by a previous owner & it has not been programmed to your vehicle. We will need you to supply your VIN number with your order so we can program it to the replacement unit.
