• The ‘Cloning service only‘ option above is if you have a faulty Instrument cluster on your vehicle, for example it may be water damaged or have a blown component. If you are looking to replace the cluster on these vehicles you may be aware that you cannot simply remove one from another vehicle & install it onto yours as the cluster is ‘Locked’ to a different vehicles electronic / immobilizer system and the mileage will be incorrect. We have the solution! Simply send us your original (Faulty) cluster & the donor (Replacement) unit & we will transfer the data from your original to the replacement enabling the used unit to work on your vehicle with no further programming necessary. Once the donor unit has been programmed (Cloned) the coding of the unit will be correct & the car will start &  function as it should. The mileage display will show the correct mileage of your car & your key data will be transferred – The central locking etc will be unaffected & operate correctly. We do NOT need the PIN code from your vehicle or the donor part to do this operation – We are able to clone these units even if you have ‘No communication’ with diagnostic tools – Your vehicles immobilizer PIN code, Component security number & MAC code is supplied to you at no extra cost with this service.
• The ‘Display / Pixel repair‘ option above is for the refurbishment only of your original (Faulty) instrument cluster – This is to specifically replace the centre display screen which often fails on these units. once your unit has been refurbished it will plug straight back into your car & work without need of programming, the mileage reading etc will still be correct for your car.
• The ‘Refurbishment service only‘ option above is for the FULL refurbishment only of your original (Faulty) instrument cluster – We are not supplying a replacement unit, once your unit has been refurbished it will plug straight back into your car & work without need of programming, the mileage reading etc will still be correct for your car.
• The ‘PIN code retrieval service‘ option above is to be used when a security PIN code of the unit is unavailable / lost. For example if an auto-locksmith requires the ‘PIN number’ & ‘Component security’ (C.S.) & MAC codes to program keys or an ECU to the vehicle. We supply the PIN number, Component security number & MAC code with this service – We cannot program extra keys to the cluster on bench, these can however be programmed using diagnostic tools via the OBD socket once these codes have been obtained.
• The ‘Mileage correction service‘ option is when for example an ECU kit or instrument cluster has been fitted to a vehicle and the mileage reading is therefore incorrect for the vehicle – Please note for legal reasons we will ask for proof of the vehicles true mileage & MOT history will be checked to verify this. Please note: This service is not for when 999,999miles is displayed – if you have this displayed then please choose the ‘999,999 miles repair’
• The ‘999,999 miles repair‘ Option is for the repair of an instrument cluster that has been corrupted & the mileage display is displaying 999,999 miles – this is usually after the vehicle has had a voltage spike for example after jump starting. We can usually read the true mileage & repair the software so the cluster will display its true mileage. Please enclose a note with your cluster with the believed mileage when it faulted so we can verify the mileage stored & correct it as necessary.
