The ‘Data recovery‘ option above is to repair a corrupt FRM3 unit – Fitted to various BMW / Mini models – It is common for the FRM3 module (Footwell module) to get a software Data-flash partition corruption – This regularly happens after a flat battery / jump start or from just replacing the car battery, also this can happen after ‘coding’ operations have been carried out with devices such as ‘CARLY’ or even after a simple diagnostic scan has been performed. We can reprogram (Recover) your original FRM module correcting the software file – the FRM module will then plug straight back into your car and work correctly with no further programming necessary. To get your FRM module repaired (Reset) all you have to do is simply send us your FRM module for repair, and it will be returned to you in a few days working correctly.
