Peugeot – Citroen Siemens | SID801 | SID801A | Diesel ECU Cloning / Virginizing / IMMO OFF service
This listing is NOT to supply an ECU module – This is a Cloning / Immobilizer delete service!
- The 'Cloning service only' option above is if you have a faulty ECU (Electronic Control Unit) / Programmed component on your vehicle, for example it may be water damaged or have a blown component. If you are looking to replace the unit you may be aware that you cannot simply remove a unit from another vehicle & install it onto yours as the unit is 'Locked' to a different vehicles electronic / immobilizer system. We have the solution! Simply send us your original (Faulty) unit & the donor (Replacement) unit & we will transfer the data from your original to the replacement enabling the used unit to work on your vehicle with no further programming necessary. Once the donor unit has been programmed (Cloned) the coding of the unit will be correct & the car will start & function as it should. The mileage display & the central locking etc will be unaffected & operate correctly. We do NOT need the PIN code from your vehicle or the donor part to do this operation *Important* We can only clone this type of unit if there is 'Communication' with diagnostic tools with your faulty unit - If your faulty ECU has 'No comms' please select the 'Immobilizer delete service for your donor unit.
- The 'Immobilizer delete service' option above is to be used when an ECU needs to be set to a 'Free running' / 'Immo off' state. The ECU will then fit onto the vehicle & start and run perfectly without the need of further programming of keys etc - a non transponder key can be used to start the vehicle and this service will cure a faulty immobilizer system.
- The 'Virginizing service only' option is for the virginizing of a secondhand unit ready for installing onto another vehicle & will need to be programmed once installed using diagnostic tools with 'Dealer level' functions'. We are not supplying a unit with this option

1 . Scan the vehicle with a diagnostic scanner & record fault codes – rectify any faults recorded here first & check the wiring for faults
2 – If your ECU has ‘No communication’ with a diagnostic scanner it is essential that you check relevant fuses and consult a wiring diagram for your vehicle and verify the power supply & test the wiring to your ECU – particularly test power supply relays (Engine control relay). – ECU’s returned due to misdiagnosis are subject to a 20% restocking charge
If you are not a qualified / experienced auto electrician or garage technician and you are unsure if the problem with your car is the ECU then please consult one first before ordering – there is a 20% restocking charge for returns due to misdiagnosis
If your fault is a cylinder misfire please check spark plugs / leads / coil / injectors and wiring faults / headgasket faults etc before ordering, if these have been checked or replaced then it is important to check inlet manifolds for leaks, engine compression & perform a vacuum gauge test to check for valve problems.
