This is a programming service ONLY – We are NOT supplying the ECU Unit!!
- The 'Virginizing sevice only' option above is for the virginizing of a used / secondhand ECU so it can be re-used on another vehicle – Once it has been re-programmed to an ‘As new’ (Virgin) state it will self code to your immobilizer system when it is plugged in with no further programming of keys etc necessary. Full installation instructions included. If for any reason it will not self code you can send it back with your original unit for bench programming (Data transfer) at no extra cost! Simply send us your ‘Locked’ ECU & we virginize it ready for re-use in just a few days! *IMPORTANT* Please note: To use this service it is essential that your replacement ECU has a matching part number to your original ECU!. We are not supplying an ECU with this option
- The 'Cloning service only' option above is for a Cloning (Data transfer) service. If you have a faulty ECU (Electronic Control Unit) / Module on your vehicle, for example it may be water damaged or have a blown component and are looking to replace the unit you may be aware that you cannot simply remove a unit from another vehicle & install it onto yours as the unit is 'Locked' to a different vehicles electronic / immobilizer system. We have the solution! Simply send us your original (Faulty) unit & the donor (Replacement) unit & will will transfer the immobilizer data from your original to the replacement enabling the used unit to work on your vehicle with no further programming necessary. Once the donor unit has been programmed (Cloned) your vehicle will then start & run, the mileage display & the central locking etc will be unaffected & operate as it should. *Important* To use this service it is essential that you still have 'communication' with a diagnostic scan tool with your old ECU. We are not supplying an ECU with this service.
*Please note* if using the virginizing service above we recomend final coding+software update using dealer level tools after installation.

1 . Scan the vehicle with a diagnostic scanner & record fault codes – rectify any faults recorded here first & check the wiring for faults
2 – If your ECU has ‘No communication’ with a diagnostic scanner it is essential that you check relevant fuses and consult a wiring diagram for your vehicle and verify the power supply & test the wiring to your ECU – particularly test power supply relays (Engine control relay). – ECU’s returned due to misdiagnosis are subject to a 20% restocking charge
If you are not a qualified / experienced auto electrician or garage technician and you are unsure if the problem with your car is the ECU then please consult one first before ordering – there is a 20% restocking charge for returns due to misdiagnosis
If your fault is a cylinder misfire please check spark plugs / leads / coil / injectors and wiring faults / headgasket faults etc before ordering, if these have been checked or replaced then it is important to check inlet manifolds for leaks, engine compression & perform a vacuum gauge test to check for valve problems.
