• If you have a faulty Electronic Control Unit (ECU) / Programmed component on your vehicle, for example it may be water damaged or have a blown component and are looking to replace the unit you may be aware that you cannot simply remove a unit from another vehicle & install it onto yours as the unit is 'Locked' to a different vehicles electronic / immobilizer system. We have the solution! Simply send us your original (Faulty) unit & the donor (Replacement) unit & will will transfer the data from your original to the replacement enabling the used unit to work on your vehicle with no further programming necessary. In most cases we can extract the necessary data whether your original unit is completely dead with 'No communication' with a diagnostic scanner. Once the donor unit has been programmed (Cloned) your vehicle will then start & run, the mileage display & the central locking etc will be unaffected & operate as it should.

• The ‘Data recovery‘ option above is to repair a corrupt Jaguar XF Body control module – Fitted to various Jaguar X / XF models – It is common for the BCM module to get a software Dataflash partition corruption – This regularly happens after a flat battery / jump start or from just replacing or disconnecting & reconnecting the car battery. Common fault symptoms are that the car does not start with the keys not being recognised by the vehicle – A diagnostic scan will usually have ‘No communication’ with the BCM or scrambled data. We can reprogram (Recover) your original BCM module correcting the software file – the BCM module will then plug straight back into your car and keys etc will start the car & work correctly. This is however a 2 stage process & after the BCM is refitted allowing the car to start there is a follow up procedure with diagnostic tools – such as ‘Autel’ that needs to be performed to enable the remote central locking to work correctly (Please see additional photos for more information). To get your BCM module repaired (Reset) all you have to do is simply send us your BCM module for repair & it will be returned to you in a few days.
