• The ‘U1000 / U3000 headlight fault fix (Data recovery)’ Option above is for when you have a Ford Ranger with one or both headlights not working and you have checked the bulbs, wiring etc and the fault cannot be found, check your BCM for fault codes – usually you will have U1000 & U3000 (Solid state driver protection activated) often accompanied with other fault codes such as: U1000-00 ‘Solid State Driver Protection Activated – Driver Disabled / Deactivated’ U3000-49 ‘Control Module’ B1D00-11 ‘Left Hand low Beam Circuit’ B1D00-15 ‘Left Hand low Beam Circuit’ B1D01-11 ‘Right Hand low Beam Circuit’ B1D01-15 ‘Right Hand low Beam Circuit’. Simply send us your original (Faulty) unit & the donor (Replacement) unit & will will transfer the data from your original to the replacement enabling the used unit to work on your vehicle with no further programming necessary. In most cases we can extract the necessary data whether your original unit is completely dead with ‘No communication’ with a diagnostic scanner. Once the donor unit has been programmed (Cloned) your vehicle will then start & run, the mileage display & the central locking etc will be unaffected & operate as it should.

*Please ensure, before refitting the BCM, that all electrical faults have been rectified eg. short circuits, blown bulbs (replace with new), and no aftermarket modifications (such as additional lights or LED bulbs that have been wired in). These must be returned to factory state.
